Salary: $90,000-120,000 (Full-Time Compensation)

ABOUT US:
Wayfinder Behavioral Health is an outpatient treatment center located in Watertown, Massachusetts. We provide an intensive outpatient program (IOP), partial hospitalization program (PHP), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual therapy, and family counseling for adults with primary substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health challenges. Our experienced clinical team integrates evidence-based and experiential modalities to provide a holistic and client-centered approach to healing and recovery.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Licensed Therapist provides individual and group therapy for adult clients with primary substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role includes conducting clinical assessments, developing and managing individual treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care across the treatment continuum.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Conduct clinical assessments to support diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, and tracking of therapeutic progress.
● Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives.
● Provide weekly, one-hour individual therapy sessions for all assigned clients.
● Plan and facilitate PHP and IOP groups as assigned by the Clinical Director.
● Attend and actively participate in clinical treatment team meetings.
● Complete clinical documentation efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner, in accordance with Wayfinder Behavioral Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS), and Joint Commission standards.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
● Proficiency in evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy for mental health and substance use disorders in outpatient and PHP settings.
● Strong documentation skills and ability to manage administrative tasks using electronic health systems.
● Adaptability to changing clinical and organizational needs.
● Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● LCSW, LICSW
● Current licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
● Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, including treating substance use disorders.
● Experience with trauma-related disorders is highly valued.
