Summary

Pride Health is hiring a Skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support our client's St Helena, CA medical facility. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility for an extension, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.


Job Summary:

  • Provides consultation and counseling with patients, families, staff, and others in the service of patients
  • Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings and activities.
  • Obtains or coordinates resources from community, social, health and welfare agencies.
  • Provides training for nursing staff to intervene during on-call hours and weekends.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Renders clinical psychosocial services to the patients and their families of all ages (neonate to geriatric).
  • Assesses patients, psychosocial needs and makes referrals to appropriate facilities or community agencies; and provides crisis intervention and bereavement counseling.
  • Utilizes effective problem-solving strategies to reach decisions, take appropriate action and follow through within the assigned scope of responsibility.’


Job Requirements/Education / Work Experience:

  • Master’s degree in social work or equivalent combination of education
  • 3+ years’ experience in a social agency, hospital, or other organization dealing with health and/or welfare.
  • Psych/Behavioral experience preferred.
  • BLS from AHA
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM)

Shifts: Monday- Friday, Day Shift

Hourly Pay: - $49 - $50/hour
