We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic librarian who will be responsible for the library cataloging, collection development and other related processes. The person will report to the IE's Library Associate Director and will work on the Segovia campus.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Segovia.
Responsibilities:
Your role as a Junior Manager will involve:
Develop collection tasks at Segovia campus: cataloguing, preservation and weeding of any kind of collection materials.
Accomplish technical processes, cataloging, and digitalization.
Reshelve the materials, check the alarms status, do the library inventory.
Management of printed journals received and its online availability
Ensure efficient day-to-day library activity to improve service performance and enhance UX.
Develop metrics and participate in the evaluation processes and the improvement of the services.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and develop & maintain strategic partnerships.
Participate in internal and external projects, technical commissions, and library working groups.
Contribute to the planning and organization of cross-cutting projects.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role you should have:
Bachelor`s degree in Library Science.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in library management, with particular emphasis on cataloging and collection development.
MARC 21 cataloging expertise.
Proven experience in Archive.
Specialist in Web Design.
Skills in Graphic design and illustration.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (including empathy and active listening).
Detail-oriented.
Enthusiasm, team spirit, and strong willingness to have an impact.
Deep knowledge of the IE Community is highly valued.
Intermediate English level.
