Job Description


Become our client's Legal Scheduling Assistant and support a top-tier plaintiff law firm in Miami. Work closely with a Lead Attorney to manage scheduling for active First Party cases. Requires at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Precision, speed, and organization are key.


Job Overview


Employment type: Indefinite Term Type Contract

Shift: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

Work setup: Onsite (Bogotá or Medellin)

The Qualifications We Seek


  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong grammar and spelling abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Sound judgment and ability to make timely, informed decisions
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in team settings
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to communicate clearly with people from various backgrounds


Your Daily Tasks


  • Scheduling mediations and depositions
  • Sending and tracking letters to clients
  • Organizing notices and letters for depositions and/or mediations
  • Calling clients to confirm appointments
  • Assisting with tasks as requested by attorneys or case staff
  • Composing letters, pleadings, and motions
  • Filing motions for extensions of time when required
  • Managing calendars and meeting deadlines
  • Processing documents, filing with the court, and preparing general pleadings, notices, subpoenas, correspondence, and hearing/trial exhibits
  • Supporting attorneys with hearing and trial preparation
  • Performing other administrative duties as assigned
