Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and architect the migration from legacy Mainframe based systems to Guidewire cloud
Analyze existing mainframe systems, identify core functions, data structures and processes, and assist migration from legacy.
Analyze and map data from legacy insurance systems to target schemas.
Design and implement ETL pipelines for efficient and reliable data migration.
Design and implement data masking strategies
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure accurate data mapping and validation.
Monitor data quality pre- and post-migration, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in data migration, particularly in the insurance industry.
Proficiency in SQL and ETL processing
Knowledge of insurance data models, platforms, and data storages (e.g., Mainframe, DB2, VSAM, Guidewire).
Experience working with customer teams to understand business objectives and functional requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in
Excellent English and Finnish communication skills (mandatory)
The candidate must be resident in Finland (mandatory)
