More About The Role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a LED architect in Shanghai with Signify.

• Develop technology roadmap and product planning for LED engine based on company’s development strategy, industry trends and market demand.
• Responsible for the overall LED engine development to achieve performance and cost target
• LED supplier pool management and conduct forward-looking research and exploration on new LED technologies, materials, processes, etc.
• Take a leading role in efforts to materialize those innovations
• Create and maintain eco-system of LED packaging to keep Signify staying in leading edge of technology breakthrough
  
  

More About You

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• Master degree or higher in engineer. With strong engineer background and working experience in below subjects are preferred (Optical, Electronics, Inorganic Materials, Optical science and engineering, Solid state devices and physics etc.)
• More than 5 years of experience in LED chip and/or packaging industry from concept to mass production, and in directing projects in relevant technology area
• Extensive experience in one of the following areas:
• LED chip epitaxy growth or chip manufacturing process
• LED package materials, manufacturing process, characterization
• Phosphors materials, manufacturing process, characterization
• Familiar with mainstream LED package materials and major LED suppliers
• Familiar with optical, electrical, and thermo-mechanical issues that are relevant to quality and reliability of LED Lighting products.
• Good command in English (oral and written) is a must.
• Creative out of the box thinker
• High level of dedication and commitment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Good analytical skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Sense of urgency and high resilience level
