Role Summary: The Learning & Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in cultivating a culture of continuous learning and service excellence across the agency. Reporting to the VP of Organizational Quality & Impact, this position is responsible for identifying training needs, maintaining compliance with training regulations, administering the Learning Management System (LMS), and developing impactful training programs. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Specialist supports agency initiatives, drives employee development, and ensures alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards. * Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 09:00 AM - 06:00 AM; Friday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM: Every other Friday off * Location: 155 N. Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026 Duties and Responsibilities: * Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and support a culture of learning by guiding staff and leveraging system features to meet organizational needs. * Identify training needs, develop curriculum, and coordinate agency-wide trainings in collaboration with internal and external partners. * Monitor and audit training compliance with all agency contracts and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate learning records and documentation. * Support agency initiatives leadership development through curated and custom training content. * Promote service quality by tracking learning outcomes, supporting accreditation efforts, and analyzing data to guide continuous improvement.
