**Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first** Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Learning Design Professional 2 who will use instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to determine the appropriate solutions to a knowledge or performance gap. The Learning Design Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Learning Design Professional 2 analyzes content, organizes content, designs solutions, and writes storyboards, scripts, performance support, policy & procedure documents, job aids and process flow documents. + Analyzes learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content. + Writes effective learning objectives and coordinates performance assessments to measure training effectiveness. + Ensure course materials are current and relevant to training needs. + Tracks and analyzes the training programs effectiveness by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement. + Provides instruction and guidance to Facilitators. + Plans, organizes, and develops training curriculum, materials, job aid, job performance aids and programs to meet specific training needs. + Assists with new hire onboarding tasks. + Uses consultative skills to commit projects and conduct needs analysis with clients to determine whether learning solutions are necessary or relevant. + Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. + Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and require minimal direction and receive guidance where needed. + Follows established guidelines/procedures. **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience in learning design or learning facilitation. + Minimum one (1) year of experience in design, facilitation, adult learning strategies and/or adult learning theories. + Prior experience working in a consumer centric company leading the learning function or related function. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with Zoom, Adobe Tools, Articulate, Microsoft Office Suite tools, Adobe products, Articulate products, Lucid Chart, Humana Learning Center and CSOD. + Previous experience in utilization management. + Medicaid experience. + CGX experience. **Additional Information** + **Workstyle:** This is a remote position with minimal travel. + **Typical Work Schedule** : Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard time (EST).This position must be flexible in accommodating work schedules and meetings in Central Standard Time (CST) in order to satisfy business needs. + **Travel:** Up to 5% travel annually, possibly outside of your state of residence for team engagement meetings and training. **Work from Home Internet Statement** To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: + At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested + Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. + Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. + Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. + Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. **Interview Format** As part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we will be using an interviewing technology called HireVue to enhance our hiring and decision-making ability. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $59,300 - $80,900 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
