Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Talent Development, the Learning Design Manager is a subject matter expert offering insight and leading practices to drive change across the business in the development and continuous improvement of training strategies and programs. As a member of the Community of Expertise (COE) team the role sees success in partnering with business leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to design, develop and oversee the company's learning strategy and programs, ensuring that they are integrated throughout the company and aligned with enterprise priorities. This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-KL1 Major Responsibilities: * Providing oversight and prioritization of instructional design and development of training programs in all formats (Instructor, eLearning, Videos, Games, Guides) for all course types (Compliance, Skills, Behavioral, and Domain) for stakeholders across the organization (ex: EPC Functions, GBUs, and Project Management). * Ensuring all training programs (both internally designed as well as external) meet established guidelines for learning quality; drives consistently and quality for training programs. * Analyzing data from internal and external research utilizing tools, metrics, and statistical knowledge to interpret and recommend solutions. * Leveraging employee feedback and company culture, when translating innovative solutions to support the company's overall learning strategy and organizational priorities. * Using best practice teamed with practicality to identify business need for continuous improvement of the learning programs, reviewing periodically and recommending adjustment. * Collaborating frequently with senior leadership (including executive business leaders) to update/create training programs. Collaboration could require the need to influence leadership to meet deadlines and contribute quality technical content. * Developing the business case for program changes, establishing conceptual program requirements and planning budget for obtaining required funding. * Ongoing research of leading external practices, maintaining strong SME networks (conference boards, professional memberships) in assisting development of internal capability. * Setting clear direction and accountable for overall program implementation. * Evaluating vendors and existing system capabilities, managing the internal RFP and procurement processes as need to obtain new technologies and tools. * Developing and evaluating learning metrics, documenting results to use in refining program and end user experience. Education and Experience Requirements: * Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: * Well-developed stakeholder engagement and management skills, ability to influence without authority and negotiate effectively. * Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize conflicting demands, deal with complexity and manage multiple deliverables. * Successful applicants must have the legal right to live, work and remain in the United States of America without requiring company sponsorship. * Track record of successfully creating, launching and leading "world-class" learning program/s in a global company. * Advanced research and market based practical knowledge of learning programs in a global organization. * Works efficiently with the root cause of any situation, remaining open to all ideas and options that will achieve the best results for end user and the company. * Ability to contribute to a positive culture, encouraging collaboration, teamwork, inclusion of people, and diversity of thought across networks. * Skilled at communicating openly, in a timely manner with customers and colleagues, actively seeking out feedback and listening to concerns. * Excellent executive presence, credible with employees at every level, develops relationships built on trust, integrity, and approachability. * Comfortable with change and ambiguity.
