Summary

We are seeking a passionate Learning Design Manager with a background in both designing and delivering training modules. The ideal candidate will collaborate with SMEs across the business and use training models such as ADDIE or SAM to design and deliver the training both virtually and in person.


Our client based in Dubai, is one of the largest semi-government organisations in the region. This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth business performance gap analyses following learning standards to identify the business outcomes and the specific knowledge and skills gaps that impact employees’ performance at the workplace and provide the context for the design of the solution
  • Decide whether a gap exists or not and if it can be addressed with a learning solution
  • Design engaging learning solutions for all employees to the highest standards and in adherence with company policy and departmental KPI’s
  • Use adult learning design methods that create a positive environment conducive to learning and support the transfer of learning at the workplace
  • Meet the learning design benchmark as per industry best practice
  • Assemble content described in the design phase adhering to the quality standards
  • Oversee pilots of new courses to ensure alignment with business needs and expectations
  • Deliver learning solutions as per learning standards
  • Plan, record, track and manage learning solutions(new courses and re-design work) end-to-end in line with Learning project management standards(ADDIE cycle)


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level from a leading university in a field relevant to learning/training
  • Recognized professional qualifications in facilitation, instructional design and evaluation
  • Arabic language is desirable
  • 2 years of professional experience in learning solutions project management (ADDIE)
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in performance gap analyses, instructional design, facilitation and evaluation in a blue-chip organization, preferably in a multi-cultural environment
  • Expertise/experience in analyzing needs, designing and evaluating leadership/management courses
  • Extensive and thorough knowledge of learning processes, methodologies and technologies
  • Strong in developing and supporting behavioural change courses
