What you'll be doing…

As the Learning Design and Development Lead, you'll shape the future of our customer learning experiences. You'll lead and coach a team of learning designers, driving the creation of impactful, scalable, and innovative learning solutions. From AI-driven content to immersive simulations, you'll blend creativity, technology, and instructional design expertise to deliver high-quality, digital-first learning that empowers our customers and enables product adoption at scale.

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of learning designers in the design and development of high-impact learning programs.
• Champion innovation by integrating AI-powered tools, learning analytics, and automation to personalise and optimise the learner experience.
• Apply modern instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles to create multimodal, learner-centred solutions.
• Build engaging, interactive learning using tools such as Articulate 360 and Camtasia, with a strong focus on UX and WCAG-aligned accessibility.
• Leverage Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs) to design in-product, just-in-time learning experiences.
• Contribute to or lead LMS implementations or optimisations, ensuring learning systems are used to their full potential
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders across product, R&D, consulting, and customer-facing teams to co-design practical, business-aligned content.
• Guide the development of simulations, demonstrations and video-based learning to support real-world application.
• Coach team members to continuously improve their technical learning design and development skills.
• Create meaningful assessments and feedback loops to measure capability uplift and improve learning performance.
• Evaluate and implement emerging learning technologies, including AI, adaptive learning, and generative content creation to improve scale, speed, and learner impact.
• Manage team capacity, priorities and project timelines aligned to strategic goals.
  
  

Your Talents…

You're a passionate and experienced learning lead who blends creativity with precision, and strategy with hands-on delivery. You bring:

• Proven experience leading high-performing learning design and development teams.
• Expertise in digital learning design, including eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, HTML5, Camtasia, etc).
• Experience with or strong understanding of Digital Adoption Platforms in their role in customer enablement.
• Demonstrated involvement in LMS implementation, configuration, or optimisation.
• A strong grasp of instructional design, adult learning principles, and agile content development approaches.
• Experience developing simulations, screen-capture tutorials, and video-based learning assets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• A growth mindset and willingness to coach others, explore new technologies, and elevate learning effectiveness across the business.
• Experience in learning design standards, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, consistency, and accessibility benchmarks.
