Summary
The Learning & Organizational Development Advisor is responsible for identifying leadership development needs and creating and executing strategies to enhance leadership effectiveness. This role leads soft-skill learning, new hire orientation, and compliance training programs for all team members, ensuring their effective use and continuous improvement. The Advisor manages the Learning Management System (LMS) and LinkedIn Learning platforms to optimize learning experiences, supports the Neo Culture initiative by identifying and providing learning that fosters positive culture change, and acts as the lead facilitator for all training initiatives. The role requires setting strategic direction, securing buy-in from stakeholders, and owning the full scope of learning to support organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Identify leadership development needs and create and execute a comprehensive strategy to enhance leadership effectiveness
- Lead soft-skill and compliance training programs for all team members, ensuring using and completion
- Manage the LMS and LinkedIn Learning platforms to optimize team member learning experiences
- Support the Neo Culture initiative by identifying and leading the roll-out of learning that supports positive culture change
- Act as the lead facilitator for all training sessions, ensuring engaging and effective delivery of learning content
- Oversee the new hire orientation process, ensuring that all procedures are current and continuously enhancing the onboarding experience
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the Learning & Organizational Development team
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Learning & Organizational Development or a similar role with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years of experience and a Master's degree
Qualification Requirements
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels within the organization
- Proven ability to identify leadership development needs, create strategies aligned with those needs, and execute effective development programs to enhance leadership capabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in managing and optimizing Learning Management Systems, with a preference for Workday Learning experience.
- Proven ability to effectively facilitate training sessions, ensuring engaging and impactful delivery of learning content
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and implementing learning programs utilizing various approaches and adhering to best practices
- Possesses certifications and experience in common leadership programs such as Situation Leadership and Coaching
- Experience with change management concepts and methodologies, with a preference for familiarity with Culture Partner’s models to drive effective culture change initiatives
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
Certificate Compliance Requirements
ATD certification is preferred
