Position : Sr Trainer-Learning & Development-Sr Executive (Travel Industry)
Location : Siliguri
Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor's degree in any field, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related
field are preferred
● Proven experience as a trainer or facilitator, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
● A dedication to learning and a steadfast commitment to nurturing a culture of ongoing
improvement are essential.
● Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
methodologies.
● Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to diverse audience needs and
learning styles.
● Proficiency in using various training tools and technologies, including learning
management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.
● Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is a plus.
● Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced organization is highly
desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
● Build learning plans for new employees and partner agents onboarded in the
organization.
● Facilitate induction, orientation and new hire training programs.
● Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs
and objectives.
● Develop comprehensive training plans and materials tailored to the specific
requirements of different roles within the company.
● Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional
techniques and formats.
● Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring effective knowledge
transfer and participant engagement.
● Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and
performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
● Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in learning and
development methodologies, integrating them into our training programs as
appropriate.
● Provide coaching and support to other trainers or facilitators as needed.
● Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to continuously improve the overall
training/learning and development framework within the organization.
