Learning and Development Specialist, Client Success

Summary

Using adult learning principles, the Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for successfully developing, documenting, and administering engaging learning experiences for new hires, new processes, and new technologies.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive training and learning culture throughout the Client Success Department by utilizing adult learning principles and practices.
  • Develop, document, and administer initial onboarding training for all new Client Success (CS) team members.
  • Openly communicate and partner with CS leadership regarding individual team member competency, successes, challenges, and concerns.
  • Partner with internal team members and SMEs to develop, document, deliver, and coordinate standard training plans and curriculum for Client Success Specialists which may include 30, 60, or 90 day learning and development plans.
  • Develop and document proof of proficiency and certification for appropriate tasks/functions.
  • Partner with Process Owners and CS Leaders to identify training gaps and needs, develop plans to meet those needs.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and facilitate ongoing department and role training as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a learning management system, training documentation and lesson plans.
  • Administer and manage training curriculum via Bridge, Confluence, and other technologies as appropriate. Become an SME for these technologies.
  • Assist with the content development and training of new technology releases, enhancements, tools, skills, etc.
  • Participate in department training priority meetings, determine training schedules, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Participate in the facilitation of multiple learning programs simultaneously.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and two years of work-related experience.
  • Teaching or training experience.
  • Group facilitation experience.
  • Familiar with technology; preferably Microsoft Suite, Bridge, Confluence, Rise 360, Canva, Mentimeter, and Camtasia.
  • Document preparation and presentation experience.
  • Proficient in Zoom presentation, reporting, polling, etc.
  • Experience involving one on one feedback and employee development.
  • Working knowledge of Client Success systems and processes preferred, but not required.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and basic instructional design methodologies.

Essential Functions/Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work environment. Must be located along the Wasatch Front with the ability to be in office M-W and for infrequent occasions on Thursday or Friday. Optional work from home on Thursdays and Fridays in a professional, non-distracting environment.
  • Office type work requiring long periods of sitting at a computer, typing, etc.
  • Occasional availability outside of standard business hours for global training assistance.
