Summary

We are currently representing a global leader in engine component MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) business to search for a LEAN Manager who is responsible for leading and executing continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production facilities. This role will drive operational excellence using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies to reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and support regulatory compliance. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement and achieve strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and sustain Lean and Six Sigma-based initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and turnaround time (TAT).
  • Facilitate kaizen events, value stream mapping, standard work optimization, and root cause analysis.
  • Analyze key performance data to identify improvement opportunities across production and support functions.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to drive process improvements.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees at all levels on continuous improvement tools and principles.
  • Monitor, track, and report improvement initiatives using appropriate KPIs and metrics.
  • Ensure continuous improvement efforts comply with aerospace regulatory standards (FAA, EASA, AS9110).
  • Promote a proactive, problem-solving culture across all departments and levels of the organization.
  • Lead project teams and manage timelines, deliverables, and change adoption.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of continuous improvement or Lean experience, preferably in an aerospace or MRO environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
  • Proficiency with Lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, SMED, and value stream mapping.
  • Experience working in regulated industries and understanding of relevant aerospace standards.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Effective communicator with experience leading cross-functional teams and improvement initiatives.
