Job Description:

• Lead design, development, and integration of high-power analog and power electronics, including linear amplifiers (Class A, AB, C, D, S) and acoustic transmit systems for U.S. Navy sonar platforms (e.g., AN/BQQ-10, Virginia-class, Columbia-class).
• Serve as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL), managing system-level design, EDM builds, hardware configuration, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT).
• Oversee requirements analysis, hardware trade studies, signal transmission modeling, and design reviews for transmit amplifier cabinets and unit controllers used in acoustic projection systems.
• Interface with Navy customers on design intent, schedule, and delivery plans while ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and ruggedization standards for naval environments.
• Collaborate with system architects, embedded developers, mechanical packaging, and production teams to modernize and sustain sonar transmit hardware and electromechanical subsystems.
• Utilize Agile development processes and participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) to ensure quality and traceability across system lifecycle phases.
