Job Title : Lead Test Automation Engineer – (Selenium, Webdriver.io, and TypeScript )

Job Type : W2 /C2C

Experience : 6- 10 Years

Location : San Jose, CA

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Webdriver.io, and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks to enhance test coverage and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define and implement automation testing strategies.
• Identify, analyze, and document software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery.
• Conduct performance and functional testing to ensure application stability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in test automation.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 6 to 10 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber for behavior-driven testing.
• Hands-on experience with Webdriver.io for UI automation.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for test script development.
• Experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of API testing and automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in mobile automation testing.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
