This role will be responsible for smooth functioning of all technical workstreams across projects and BAU. Candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance and optimize risk processes and solutions, specifically in areas related to IFRS 9, large exposure reporting, Moody’s CreditLens and RCO, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), Risk Rating, and Model Risk Management.

Major Responsibilities

• Analyzing and identifying technical workstreams across projects and BAU enhancement and support.
• Liaising with the different IT, Business and Security teams for technical implementation.
• Coordinating with the development team and vendors in addressing technical delivery, issues & fixes.
• Developing and assigning work schedules/tasks.
• Implementing best practices and coding standards.
• Provide technical expertise, leadership, and project coordination services to support and maintain continuity of Risk Service.
• Adhere to Bank IT policies, processes and procedures and ensure adherence by team.
• Act as a lead and mentor to the technical team across complete SDLC lifecycle covering both waterfall and agile methodology
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or any related field
• Experience: Must have at least 12 years or more experience in systems implementation of which at least 4 years is in leading technical team.
• Excellent knowledge of programming languages like .NET, Java and Python.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Cloud environment (AWS & Azure).
• Strong knowledge and working experience on different RDMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and non-relational platforms.
• Experience of working with Risk Domain (such as Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, Operational Risk, Liquidity & Market Risk & Risk Modeling) would be an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good leadership skills coupled with strong communication and decision-making ability.
• Highly motivated and willing to learn new technologies and industry trends.
• Self-initiative and drive for positive and successful outcomes.
