A company that specializes in custom steel fabrication, modular HVAC systems, and industrial equipment rooms is looking for a Lead Structural Engineer! They serve a wide range of industries including automotive, healthcare, and institutional clients.

A Lead Structural Engineer will support the design and delivery of modular buildings like chiller plants, substations, and E-houses. This is a leadership role with responsibility for structural design, code compliance, and project oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Lead structural steel design for modular industrial buildings
• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for structural deliverables
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to execute projects
• Conduct inspections and review shop drawings
• Support fabrication and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to strategic planning for the engineering team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 8–12 years of structural steel design experience
• PE license required (SE preferred)
• Proficient in Excel, MathCAD, RAM Elements/Connections, AutoCAD, Revit
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ASME, and API codes
• Strong communication and project management skills

Preferred:

• Experience with ASME PVP or API standards
• Familiarity with modular construction methods
