Summary
We are seeking a passionate Lead Speech Language Pathologist ( SLP ) to join our team at Language Essentials, Inc. This role offers the opportunity to work with various clients, providing essential speech therapy services. The position will act as the senior SLP in the company and provide therapy leadership and mentoring to the team's SLPs and SLPAs.
Responsibilities
- Help define, implement and manage our quality of care program
- Work with SLPs / SLPAs on their productivity goals
- Mentor the therapists on their therapy skills and best practices for patient care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide effective speech therapy interventions to clients of all ages, focusing on improving communication skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about speech-language disorders and treatment options.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records as per regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the team's speech language pathologists ( SLP ).
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years experience in a clinical/private practice environment serving the pediatric population
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in pediatrics or early intervention required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead and collaborate with a team.
- Has a strategic managerial mindset, but also excels at the daily tactical level
- Solid understanding of maximizing patient progress as well as billing productivity
Preferred Additional Skills:
Pediatric feeding disorders experience
Orofacial Myofunctional therapy
AAC experience

Pay: $102,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
