💼 Lead Software Engineer | Java + C# | Security & Information Systems

We're helping a high-impact engineering team find a Lead Software Engineer to shape the future of secure, browser-based applications used across critical security and information systems. This is a senior technical leadership role for someone who can drive architectural decisions, mentor a veteran team, and guide development across both greenfield and legacy systems. The environment is Agile, distributed, and mission-focused - with plenty of technical challenges to go around.

🛠 What You’ll Do

• Lead a geographically distributed Agile team building complex applications in Java and C#
• Design, implement, and improve software architecture for security-focused platforms
• Partner with product, ops, and marketing teams to bring user-centered features to life
• Guide modernization efforts for legacy codebases and contribute to system-wide architectural evolution
• Own the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment - DevSecOps is baked in

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of hands-on software development experience
• 5+ years leading software teams and owning architecture decisions
• Deep Java expertise, with solid C# experience
• Strong background in software performance, multithreading, and algorithmic problem-solving
• Hands-on experience developing browser-based UIs using React.js
• Familiar with 3D modeling/simulation, computational geometry, or related domains
• DevSecOps experience and an eye for secure software design
• Agile process champion who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving team

⭐ Bonus Points For

• MS in CS, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Spring Data, Hibernate, or similar ORM tools
• Hands-on experience deploying Dockerized applications
• Experience working with Node.js, Elasticsearch, or NoSQL systems
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Teams and remote-first collaboration
