Role: Lead Software Engineer - Python / Flask

Location: New York, Hybrid

Salary: $170k - $200k + Equity

What You’ll Focus On

• AI Agent Development: Design AI Agents for high performance and scalability, leading the expansion of AI Agent capabilities for rapid deployment.
• Framework Expansion: Build or extend AI frameworks as needed, focusing on configuration simplicity and control.
• Backend & Infrastructure: Develop on a stack including Python, TypeScript, React, Flask, Postgres, and RabbitMQ. Manage cloud and infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Analytics & Performance: Build automated analytics to monitor agent conversations, lead conversions, and optimize KPIs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to iterate and refine AI Agent functionality.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, shape tech strategy, and uphold high engineering standards.

Who You Are:

• Backend Expert: Proficient with Python, TypeScript, React, and Flask; strong database experience with Postgres and RabbitMQ.
• Experienced with ML pipelines (bonus: Experience working with NLP and RAG systems)
• Tech Stack Proficiency: Skilled in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD with Github Actions; LLM'S, familiar with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ownership: Senior or staff-level engineer with hands-on project ownership and leadership.
