Job Summary:

We are hiring a Technical Lead to head a high-performing team building next-generation RAN and Modem diagnostic application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/Kotlin, modem diagnostics, telecom drive testing, and desktop application development. You will own the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable telecom applications.

Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Technical Leadership:

• Architect, design, and review high-performance telecom desktop applications.
• Own the system design, code quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Guide developers in JavaFX UI design, backend logic, and performance tuning.
• Lead refactoring and tech debt elimination strategies.

👥 People & Project Management:

• Manage a team of 4–5 software engineers: task allocation, code reviews, mentoring.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and client.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and bug fixes.

📶 Telecom & Domain Oversight:

• Ensure the team understands LTE/5G RAN protocols, KPIs, and modem logs.
• Drive the integration and processing of modem diagnostic tools (e.g., QXDM, QCAT).
• Validate that log parsing, visualization, and reporting align with telecom standards.

Technical Skills:

• Languages & Frameworks:
• Expert in Java, Kotlin, JavaFX
• Solid experience with Koin (Kotlin DI), REST APIs, jFreeCharts
• Databases:
• Strong with SQLite, SQL
• Hands-on with DB schema design and migration
• Tools & Formats:
• JSON, XML, REST
• Memory analyzer tools (MAT, VisualVM, JProfiler)
• Architecture & Practices:
• Modular, scalable desktop app architecture
• CI/CD familiarity, Git workflows, code quality enforcement

Telecom & Modem Domain Expertise (Mandatory):

• Proven experience in Telecom RAN (LTE/5G) — especially Layer 1–3 KPIs and signaling.
• Strong understanding of modem diagnostics – logs, protocol messages, and interfaces.
• Experience with tools like XCAL, XCAP, TEMS, Nemo, QXDM, NSG.
• Ability to guide log parsing logic, data visualization, and drive test post-processing logic.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to modem vendor SDKs (Qualcomm, Samsung, MTK).
• Experience in contributing to or building internal frameworks for telecom test tools.
• Prior experience with field testing teams or post-processing automation.
