As a Lead Software Developer, you will play a critical role in shaping the experience of our customers, partners, and communities. The Lead Software Developer will develop, enhance, and maintain programs, applications, and automations. Successful candidates will have experience implementing custom applications using React and Golang within the Azure cloud environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Responsible for development and enhancement of current programs, applications, and automations, as well as future programs, applications and automations.
• Design, develop, build, and deploy custom, cloud-based, rules engine based on requirements documentation.
• Make recommendations for the best technical design to meet internal/external client requests.
• Continuously innovate to automate processes, implement best practices, and improve overall system architecture.
• Actively engage with dedicated QA team for sprint planning, testing coordination, and demonstrations.
• Work closely with internal, key stakeholders to understand the nuance and rapidly changing requirements of proprietary platforms.
• Assess stakeholder needs and assign development tasks based on personal portfolio and Junior Developer portfolio.
• Facilitate technology handoffs when engaging with 3rd parties.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years software development experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Development Lead.
• Experience working in the Azure Cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate design principles effectively, advocating for best practices.
• Ability to design, read, write, and test code in multiple languages, including but not limited to .Net, GoLang, C#, etc.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex builds.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and collaborating with other Developers.
• Working experience in software development, and knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
