The Role

We are seeking a passionate and high-performing Lead Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering Team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and building scalable, high-performance SaaS applications that empower companies to attract and retain top talent. What You’ll Do

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Software Architecture team to design and develop software solutions for a high-performance SaaS application, ensuring high security, availability, scalability, and observability.
  • Lead architectural discussions and execute designs that reflect collaborative team input.
  • Act as a team lead during scrum meetings and lead the discussions on technical solutions and systems architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, and Data Operations teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert for one product area, representing the company in technical discussions.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain cloud native RESTful microservices
  • Perform code and design reviews, drive the adoption of modern software engineering practices.
  • Mentor and grow engineers within your team and across the organization.
  • Implement monitoring strategies and work with the platform team to improve system observability.
  • Drive continuous improvements in engineering practices, focusing on delivering reliable, high-quality solutions.


What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience serving as a technical lead on multiple high-impact, high-visibility projects.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures for relational databases.
  • Hands on experience with tuning SQL Server Queries
  • Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with Event-Driven Architectures (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, AWS Kinesis, Kafka, GCP PubSub).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful Web Services.
  • Experience in building cloud native backend services
  • Hands on experience in migrating and designing applications for Azure AKS or Kubernetes clusters
  • Agile/SCRUM development experience.
  • Hands on experience administering and configuring Azure AKS is a plus
  • Experience with designing and building solutions for semantic search using vector embeddings is a plus


Technical Skills

You’ll stand out if you have experience with:

  • Backend: C#/.NET (latest version)
  • Frontend: Angular, Typescript, JavaScript
  • Data: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Snowflake
  • Messaging and Integration: Azure Service Bus
  • Cloud: Azure experience preferred, AWS experience accepted
  • Testing Tools: Mockito, EasyMock, JUnit, TestNG
  • Containerization: Azure AKS, YAML, Docker, Tilt, Lens, Rancher Desktop
