Title: Lead Software Engineer - Node.js

Location: Athens, Greece

Salary: €80-90k

I'm looking to recruit a Lead Software Engineer with Node.js expertise to join an innovative software house at the forefront of transforming the live entertainment landscape. They have created pioneering apps redefining how people connect, socialise, and share moments within the vibrant world of live entertainment.

As the Lead Software Engineer, your role will include:

• Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs, and establish a monitoring environment from scratch using the latest tools.
• Writing clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices and standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
• Enhancing the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems by diagnosing, resolving issues, and debugging.
• Taking ownership of backend CI/CD pipelines, automating processes such as schema migrations, and monitoring services.

Skills required:

• At least 4 years of commercial experience working with Node.js.
• The ability to write high-quality code using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
• Proven use of Ansible, Terraform, and AWS, as well as monitoring metrics tools like Grafana.
