About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Finance Risk Management (FRM) - Liquidity Risk Oversight (LRO) team. The ideal candidate has a strong risk mindset, advanced Excel skills, demonstrated SQL skills, and experience building new reporting.
Success in this role will require a high degree of collaboration with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Capital Adequacy Risk, BSIRRM Risk, Audit, and other areas. This position will be responsible for development of sustainable reporting processes that summarize key liquidity risk metrics and liquidity position data. This individual will report directly to Financial Risk Senior Manager, Assumptions and Reporting.
In this role, you will:
* Contribute to liquidity oversight in multiple areas, to include but not limited to, the following:
* Maintain and generate regular reporting, attribution, and analysis of the bank's various liquidity stress tests (listed below) and identify key drivers of change.
* Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)
* Internal Liquidity Stress Test (ILST) scenarios
* Resolution Liquidity Adequacy and Positioning (RLAP)
* Resolution Liquidity Execution Need (RLEN)
* Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)
* Lead monthly review of liquidity stress results with the FRM-LRO team and members of Model Risk Management Validation team to present monthly highlights in the change in the liquidity position and communicate the key drivers of that change.
* Development of risk-based processes, procedures, and standards to ensure that reporting and analysis is used to identify areas where review and challenge of Front-Line processes or assumptions are necessary.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with the Front-Line, other IRM partners, and Wells Fargo Audit.
* Lead analytical projects or assignments to support product Subject Matter Experts (SME) or individuals from the FRM-LRO Leadership team for optimal ways of harnessing information as it relates to assumption reviews, limit reviews, audits, exams, or recent stress trends.
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: liquidity risk, finance/treasury/asset liability management
* Experience in bank liquidity and/or capital analysis including stress test scenarios
* A BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in banking and finance
* Experience with SQL, SAS, or similar database tools
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
* Proven ability to foster constructive relationships with various levels of management
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to be proactive in terms of identifying and addressing risk and management issues that are arising; to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured
* Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
* Working knowledge of liquidity risk management concepts
* Demonstrated success leading and implementing sizable projects

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
