Role Overview
This role involves leading QA initiatives across UI and API layers with a strong focus on automation using Python, Selenium, and Pytest in a BDD environment. The candidate will contribute to framework design, test strategy, and test case development in a fast-paced Agile/DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Selenium (v3+), Pytest, and BDD tools like Gherkin or Behave.
Execute UI and API testing with automation and manual approaches.
Write and optimize database queries (Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, RDS).
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams; contribute to continuous integration processes (Git, Jenkins).
Lead a small team (3–4 members), ensuring quality delivery and adherence to best practices.
Mandatory Skills
4+ years in Python-based automation (Selenium, Pytest).
UI and API Testing experience.
BDD Frameworks: Gherkin, Behave.
Strong SQL/DB query skills.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps (Git, Jenkins).
Excellent communication and collaboration.
Preferred Skills
Experience in cloud-hosted environments (AWS).
Background in Healthcare/Life Sciences domain (advantageous).
Team management and leadership in QA projects.
