Position Overview:

Join the team that manages the end-to-end technology and life cycle management of the applications hosted both on premise and in the AWS cloud.

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 6-8 years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) operational effectiveness team. . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in creating & managing complex data queries and pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Automation of application health checks and manual workarounds using python.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Python-based applications and services
• Enable the self-healing capabilities to reduce the human interference, user impact and to increase the availability.
• Partner with other teams and stake holders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
• Ability to provide alternative solutions.
• Responsible for the team deliverables
• Focuses on automating tasks, such as file manipulation, data processing, system monitoring, or batch processing. Scripting is usually less about building complex applications and more about writing quick solutions for repetitive tasks.

Required skills Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
• 5-8+ years of experience in developer role.
• 4 years of hands-on development experience with Python
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code, contributing to the development of backend systems, APIs, data processing pipelines, and other software component
• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, including libraries and frameworks such as Django, Flask, Pandas, NumPy
• 2+ years of experience in any cloud
• Experienced with agile methodology.
