We're looking for an experienced Lead Python Developer to join a long-term global project in the AI and automation space. You'll be leading a talented Scrum team and driving the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and a consultative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a Scrum team of developers/testers
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders and client-side representatives
• Contribute to technical architecture and hands-on development
• Drive quality, delivery, and collaboration
• Ensure code and project standards, conduct reviews, and support your team’s growth
• Champion process improvements, scalability, and performance
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across the board

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder communication
• Strong Python expertise (FastAPI, REST APIs)
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular or React)
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana
• Authentication (OAuth, JWT), DevSecOps best practices
• Consultant mindset: proactive, communicative, solutions-focused
• Excellent English skills and availability for US time zone overlap (min. 2–6pm CET)

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to GenAI frameworks (LangChain, vector DBs, LlamaIndex, etc.)
• .NET Core, Entity Framework
• Reporting: Power BI, SSRS
• Familiarity with OWASP, ITIL, and incident management frameworks
