About The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Product Designer who can own the end-to-end design vision for our direct-to-consumer (D2C) products, turn complex problems into elegant solutions, and lift the craft bar for a growing team. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and marketing to ship experiences that feel effortless for users and move the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the design strategy for new features and 0-to-1 initiatives, from discovery through polished delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 product designers, setting clear goals and providing continuous feedback.
• Translate insights into action—run user research, synthesize data, and prototype to validate ideas quickly.
• Create and govern our design system so that engineering ships faster and quality stays high.
• Champion D2C best practices in conversion, retention, and brand storytelling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, content, and growth to hit product-market-fit and revenue targets.
• Stay ahead of the curve on design tools, trends, and healthcare-adjacent regulations that may affect user experience.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves Details

Total experience 7–10 years in product / UX design

Leadership 2+ years managing designers, hiring, and performance coaching

Domain Proven track record designing for D2C products at high-growth startups

Tooling Expert with Figma; comfortable in Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision, or similar

Portfolio Demonstrates user-centered process and measurable business impact

Communication Clear storyteller able to influence executives and engineers alike

Process rigor Deep knowledge of interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in health-tech or regulated industries
• Familiarity with motion/visual storytelling tools (Principle, After Effects, Lottie)
