As the Lead Process Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all process engineering activities within projects from initial offer to final handover. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects independently while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of process engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
• Oversee process engineering aspects in projects from concept to completion, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines.
• Carry out process engineering tasks, including calculations, technology selection, equipment specification, and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, client-specific quality standards, and EHS regulations.
• Take ownership of project execution, both technically and organizationally.
• Foster the continuous development of the local Process Engineering department.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, norms, and engineering codes, ensuring best practices are applied.
• Promote knowledge-sharing and industry engagement by participating in professional societies such as ISPE or A3P.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, norms, and regulations.
• Experience leading or managing an engineering or technical team is highly desirable.
• Dutch and English Professional Speaking Required.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex situations with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of independence and responsibility.
