Position Description

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle database administration, particularly with Oracle 19c and above.
• In-depth experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata administration
• Proficient in MongoDB administration
• Ability to identify and resolve database performance issues
• Skilled in managing Oracle database users and privileges
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving database errors
• Promptly respond to database incidents and outages
• Pinning SQL execution plans for specific SQL IDs to improve performance
• Optimize database queries and stored procedures for better performance
• Tune indexes and other database objects for performance improvements
• Detect and resolve DB/query slowness issues
• Proficient in Oracle backup and restore tools (RMAN, EXPDP)
• Manage database users and handle space management tasks effectively
• Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus
• Availability for 5-6 night shifts per month
