What you’ll do: Lead a team of production operators in the injection molding department to ensure that volume, cost, waste and quality standards are achieved Ensure all injection molding machines are staffed, material is supplied, and that all activities have been performed to maximize uptime Verify accuracy on all production work orders directed and assist in trouble shooting discrepancies Complete production reporting in IQMS for all production areas as assigned Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting deadlines Be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and assist in physical inventory as needed Identify areas for improvement and develop implementation plans Other duties as assigned What we’re looking for: High School Diploma or equivalent Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred Basic computer skills Demonstrated mechanical ability Must be able to read English, count accurately, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, compute ratio, percentage and write legibly Requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers and training classes Have experience with the ability to operate injection molding machines, CNC machines, and Vac form machines Ability to operate material handling equipment Ability to cover all job functions at any time in the building Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagrammatic or schedule form The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs. 2nd Shift availability: M-F, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
