As their talent partner, ECC is seeking an Android engineering leader who can code elegantly, architect strategically, and lead purposefully. Your Role

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance Android applications
• Lead feature architecture and implementation using Kotlin and Java
• Integrate core Android components (Activity, Services, Broadcast Receivers, etc.)
• Create immersive custom UIs with a refined sense of design and user flow
• Implement unit tests and maintain code quality using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso
• Balance swift delivery with long-term code health and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, design, and backend engineering
• Mentor junior engineers, establish coding standards, and drive engineering excellence

Ideal Candidate

• 7–10 years of experience building native Android applications
• Deep expertise in Kotlin, Java, Gradle, Coroutines, Dagger2/Hilt, SQLite
• Mastery of Android SDK, app architecture patterns, and performance tuning
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving
• Hands-on experience with Firebase tools (Crashlytics, Remote Config)
• Clear thinking, architectural depth, and action-oriented mindset

Bonus Experience

• Experience with multi-cloud and colocated environments
• Built or contributed to mobile platforms at scale in high-traffic domains
• Experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD workflows
