As we scale globally, mobile is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a visionary Lead Mobile Developer to own and evolve the Barsys mobile experience across both iOS and Android platforms.

The Role

As Lead Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for the strategy, architecture, and execution of Barsys’ mobile app development. You will oversee both iOS and Android platforms, driving cross-functional initiatives to ensure our app is performant, scalable, and deeply integrated with our hardware ecosystem.

You will champion creative, fast-paced development—leveraging tools like Same.dev and Lovable.dev to accelerate feature delivery—and promote a product-building philosophy rooted in vibe coding: intuitive, design-first, and user-obsessed.

You’ll also mentor a team of junior developers, align closely with product and design leadership, and play a central role in defining the future of Barsys’ digital experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead development across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring consistency, performance, and innovation.
• Architect and implement scalable solutions using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
• Develop real-time features that integrate seamlessly with Barsys hardware over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
• Use AI-accelerated tools like Same.dev and Lovable.dev to reduce dev cycles and enhance design fidelity.
• Apply and advocate for vibe coding principles—instinctive, fast-moving, exploratory development—to quickly iterate and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with product, design, content, and hardware teams to build features that are intuitive, elegant, and emotionally engaging.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of junior and mid-level mobile developers.
• Set and enforce best practices for performance, testing, CI/CD, accessibility, and security across platforms.
• Stay on the leading edge of mobile trends, emerging technologies, and design paradigms—particularly those related to consumer robotics and smart home integration.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mobile app development with expertise in both iOS and Android ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Strong understanding of Bluetooth, real-time APIs, and connected device frameworks.
• Experience leading technical teams or cross-platform mobile projects from conception to deployment.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping and creative dev workflows using tools like Same.dev, Lovable.dev, or AI-assisted coding environments.
• Track record of building elegant, high-performance consumer-facing applications.
• Passion for crafting user-first experiences and leading through design and instinct as much as logic.
