Job Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers on-site.
• Recommend design modifications to enhance cost efficiency, streamline construction schedules, and improve specification and quality outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness throughout project execution.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure high standards of workmanship and materials.
• Coordinate with the contracts manager, site engineers, and discipline leads to ensure subcontractors and site personnel receive accurate and timely project information.
• Review and understand technical drawings and specifications; escalate any discrepancies or omissions to the design team in a timely manner.
• Determine resource needs for the project and lead the project team effectively.
• Promote and enforce high standards of health and safety throughout the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes.
• Proficient in scheduling, programming, and sequencing of construction activities.
• Proven experience in leading MEP teams on complex construction projects.
• Experience in delivering MEP systems within data center environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
