Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Gas Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor Package system

Partner with the best

As Lead Engineer - Mechanical Design you will be responsible for design & development of Gas turbine & Centrifugal compressor auxiliaries/skid packaging that includes,

• Understanding customer specifications, deriving requirements for the design of various Mechanical Auxiliaries.
• Sizing and selection of various auxiliary equipment such as pumps /motors/ filters/ heat exchangers/strainers/valves.
• Piping design as per ASME B31.3 (pipe sizing , pressure drop calculation, material selection, reviewing piping stress analysis, piping support selection and piping layout design)
• Structural verification using FEA tools such as Ansys.
• Foundation loads calculation and skid lifting design.
• Leading project meetings, and travelling for Kick off / 3D model review meetings with global customers
• Collaborating with external engineering suppliers in the creation & review of basic engineering drawings and 3D models, with knowledge on GD&T.
  
  

Prime accountability will be on Quality, On-time delivery, cost & engineering productivity.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will

• Have a bachelor’s / master’s in mechanical/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Static /Rotating equipment design
• Experience in skid packaging of Gas Turbine and/or centrifugal compressor,
• Strong experience in Piping domain
• Exposure to FEA Analysis software like Ansys.
• Exposure to API/ASME /NFPA codes.
• Exposure to 3D modeling/Detailing tools like UG NX, GD&T.
