Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

These positions are based in Southlake, TX. Candidate should be located within commuting distance of or willing to relocate immediately to this area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Experience in J2EE technologies with Spring Boot, Web services and Micro services
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 years of IT Industry Experience on J2EE technologies
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience, including analysis, design, development, and testing (on custom application development platforms such as Java/J2EE)
• At least 6 years of excellent experience in J2EE framework like Struts, Spring and Hibernate
• At least 6 years of experience in following Skills – Unix shell scripting, Java (core & web services), Oracle/SQL/Stored Procedure, Mongo DB
• At least 2 years of experience in Angular 2, Angular 4, type script
• Experience in Cloud, Spring cloud data flow. PCF preferred
• Experience in CI/CD. Minimum 6 years in application development/maintenance
• Knowledge of relational database/SQL. Experience in test driven development and pair programming
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. Analytical skills.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
