Position Purpose

Result-oriented software engineer with 7 to 9 years of experience. Can work with the team to produce high-quality deliverables within timelines. The candidate should be technically inclined and with a proven working record in Core Java and Oracle database skillset.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Application development/support/enhancements/bug-fixing
• Prepare high-quality test plans and conduct tests at Unit and Functional levels
• Conduct Integration tests as required
• Conduct Regression tests as required
• Reporting progress to the Team Lead/Manager
• Escalation of problems to local Team Lead/Management
• Review work of Junior members
• Manage monthly releases with the team
• Manage the UAT environments with the support team and keep environments up-to-date
• Keep track of L3 support tickets till closure

Contributing Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of the software development life-cycle and day-to-day development work.
• Meeting deadlines deliverables. Keeping Team Lead appraised of issues that affect the project and the deliverables of the project
