In this role you will: * Will be interacting with Vendors, (PIM, Stores Systems, etc.) * Manage vendor delivery expectations * Coordinate with internal cross functional teams * Vendor Engagement - Delivery goals * Technology Ownership * POS Enhancement * Pin pad enhancement * Workforce management enhancement (Systems) * There will be PMs involved * Project will happen on its own and this person will be the central technical resource * Will break up days by project * Think of as a -Tech consultant- * Work through other cross functional teams to ensure that the action items are happening * Tech guidance to project teams * Any tech deliveries - this person will be the central technical resource * 3 - 4 projects at a time * Will lead and manage most of the contracting resources - onshore and offshore * Will manage vendors* Semi-Architect - needs to be very high level * Will not do any coding or development themselves but background of prior coding experience for knowledge * Needs to know SDLC * Technical discovery * Retail Systems * Management of Project - Technical Lead Role * Microsoft Technologies * Windows * .NET * SQL Server * Technical Delivery on Projects * Retail POS - who things * Should know some of the terminology/acronyms * Need to be able to communicate with vendors * Strong communication * Organization * A lot of discovery - reaching out to internal and external resources * Very comfortable running things on their own * Tech refresh projects - device replacement (store systems/POS) * Has stores systems knowledge - Technical ability plus retail
