Requires broad knowledge of the business and technology landscape across the company as well as the specific functions and technologies within the Desktop team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish & maintain solid work relationships, through communication, cooperation, and positive interaction with all employees, staff and physicians. Lead workflow coordination for staff and vendors * Coordinates installation efforts for new clinic spaces as well as remodels and reconfigurations. * Works with the team to document, deploy, and test Epic printing * Works with staff to ensure orders of technology, furniture and accessory components are accurate and timely. * Workflow coordination for staff and contractor resources specifically for clinic expansion, remodel and reconfiguration efforts. * Troubleshoots and assists in the resolution of user reported hardware/software problems, and makes repairs to PCs, ThinClients, laptops, printers, and communication connections. * Build and deploy new PC, laptop, and thin client hardware and software utilizing both approved Windows image tools as well as basic operating system media * Runs basic diagnostic tests. * Liaison with vendors to troubleshoot/resolve major issues. * Manages warranty and non-warranty service issues with third party vendors. Skills and Abilities: * Working knowledge of technical hardware such as processors, memory, hard-drives, NIC's, etc. * Proven ability to lead and direct team members to complete tasks and project work. * Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in written and oral form. * Proven ability to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced production-oriented environment. * Ability to prioritize, highly organized. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of 1-2 years experience with computer hardware build, installation, troubleshooting required. * A+ certification strongly preferred. * WA or OR State Driver's License and driving record that meets Clinic standards.
