Position: Senior UX Designer – Product Design

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior UX Designer – Product Design with 8–10 years of experience to lead the strategy, conceptualization, design, and validation of exceptional customer experiences. This role involves solving complex real-world problems with a design-first mindset, creating intuitive and impactful solutions that drive user satisfaction and business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the UX vision and roadmap for small, medium, and large-scale projects/programs.
• Conduct Design Thinking workshops with stakeholders to define common experience goals and strategic directions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners, assigning and reviewing tasks for junior designers.
• Lead end-to-end user research: contextual inquiries, market studies, product benchmarking, brand insights, etc.
• Develop comprehensive UX artifacts including personas, customer journeys, empathy maps, opportunity maps, and design guidelines.
• Independently drive customer reviews and presentations, translating insights into actionable design outcomes.
• Define and evolve customer journeys to address key pain points and enhance overall user experience.
• Design and deliver low- and high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.
• Create and maintain UX specifications, UI components, design systems, and standards.
• Lead design reviews and provide approvals for proposed UI/UX revisions ensuring alignment with usability principles and user expectations.
• Facilitate user testing sessions, gather feedback, and translate findings into design improvements.
• Influence feature definitions and roadmap priorities through high-touch, user-centered research methods.
• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of design strategies.
• Ensure all design initiatives are in line with business goals, stakeholder expectations, and budget constraints.
  
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in UX/Product Design roles
• Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem-solving, and execution across various platforms
• Expertise in user research methodologies, prototyping, wireframing, and usability testing
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar
• Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design principles, and responsive design
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading and mentoring design teams or junior designers
• Ability to work in an agile, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
