The Role: Lead Software Engineer, C# .NET Developer

The Team: Loan Settlement, forming the industry standard web-based loan trade processing platform dedicated to efficiently settling primary and secondary par and distressed loan trades in both the US and European markets. The ClearPar platform simplifies trade settlement by providing an integrated, collaborative, real-time platform for buyers, sellers, counsel and agent banks to capture, acknowledge, and settle primary and secondary market loan trades.

The Impact: We are looking for an experienced technologist to become a member of the ClearPar development team based in Gurgaon, India. This person will work closely with existing team members in this dynamic and challenging industry to develop and maintain innovative solutions for state of the art centralized loans settlement platform, with emphasis on testability, and leveraging existing components to accomplish timely delivery of software products according to the business schedule. This position is for a highly motivated and solutions-oriented individual who will be a member of a strong .NET development team focused on leading edge technologies that can support the ClearPar application suite.

Responsibilities: This position will suit candidates who enjoy both the technical and business aspects of developing, testing, and deploying software to a schedule in an environment of high visibility and transparency around deliverables, business needs, and customer value.

  • Application Design
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company software development processes and standards.
  • Coordinate closely with the system architect to create appropriate designs and provide input to the architecture.
  • Ensure system capacity, performance and failure recovery architecture including design and execution of both functional and non-functional tests.
  • Tight collaboration with product managers and expert business analysts. Comprehension of business specifications and an ability to implement well designed solutions based on the defined requirements.
  • Application Development
  • Design and code complex solutions.
  • Provide production support for several mission critical systems.
  • Work independently, guide the team members wherever required, take initiative on certain projects while contributing to a large team on others.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 10+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong project life-cycle experience in multiple projects working with
    • C#
    • .NET 6 +
    • ASP.NET Framework 4.8
    • SQL Server
    • Data access frameworks like Entity Framework, ADO.NET, etc
    • RESTful services / WebAPI
    • Windows Services
  • Hands on web front-end UI development experience: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
  • Azure DevOps
  • AWS Development Experience
  • Ability to review, debug and diagnose existing application codebase across all application tiers
  • Familiarity with Agile development process
