Mud Pie is seeking a highly creative and experienced Lead Graphic Designer to lead and execute all digital and print design needs across the company. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong project management skills who can bring creative concepts to life while maintaining brand consistency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and oversee all digital and print materials including package design, digital ads, emails, social media ads, direct mailers, package inserts, showroom graphics, website graphics, branded company displays, and more
Develop custom print catalogs and collateral materials for the sales team and sales representatives
Work closely with various printing companies nationwide to fulfill special orders, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery
Handle the pricing, invoicing, and billing on projects to ensure the best prices are achieved for design and print services
Ensure all visual communications align with Mud Pie’s brand identity and business objectives
Provide creative input and conceptualization for new projects – from ideation to completion
Lead multiple design projects simultaneously and manage timelines and deliverables effectively
Work cross-functionally with various teams, including marketing, sales, operations, product development, executive team, etc. to fulfill design needs and strategic objectives
Present creative concepts and provide rationale behind design choices to key stakeholders
Maintain and evolve Mud Pie’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, technologies to ensure Mud Pie remains innovative and competitive
Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and outreach plans in collaboration with the marketing team
Continuously explore fresh design approaches while maintaining brand integrity
Requirements:
3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise across digital and print mediums
Experience working with a consumer goods brand is highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience in packaging design, digital marketing assets, print production, web graphics is a plus
Experience in Klaviyo or similar email marketing platform a plus
Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, and/or web design is a plus
Strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling abilities
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, color, composition
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting all deadlines
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion with minimal supervision
