Job Purpose

The Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) presents an opportunity for a full-time Lead Full Stack Developer to join one of our Technology teams.

The team is responsible for the design and development of web applications that support our business needs. The role focuses primarily on server-side development, with an emphasis on writing code that is clean, performant, secure and well-tested. The candidate should have an understanding of modern front-end technologies and be comfortable working with it.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, lean and scalable code along with creating and supporting tests using best development practices
• Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.Net, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript & SQL Server
• Peer code reviews
• Deliver prototypes, wireframes and UI renderings to support concepts
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to better understand requirements, to provide technical solutions and support user testing
• Provide support throughout software delivery process as well as after-hours support, as necessary
  
  

Knowledge And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent academic discipline
• Proven track record of delivering quality work on time
• Knowledge of software development best practices
• .Net: 5+ years
• SQL Server development: 3+ years
• JavaScript, Angular: 3+ years (Preferred)
• AWS SDK: 2+ (A plus)
• Experience building cloud-based applications (A plus)
• AWS developer certification (A plus)
• Experience implementing unit, integration & functional testing.
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with Snowflake (A plus)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain designs and solutions clearly
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
