As a Lead Shopify Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of the client side of our Shopify e-commerce platform. Your primary focus will be developing and implementing user interface components using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and meta fields. You will also be responsible for managing the team of front-end developers and collaborating with the back-end development team to ensure a seamless user experience. Responsibilities: Leading a team of 5 front-end developers and collaborating with the back-end development team to ensure a seamless user experience. Leading the development of custom Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, async JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and metafields. Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability. Building reusable code and libraries for future use. Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and applying them to development. Managing the development process from conception to deployment. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Lead Shopify Front-End Developer. Strong understanding of Shopify's liquid templating language and Shopify's front-end development environment. Proficiency in DOM manipulation, async JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and metafields. Familiarity with Shopify Plus features, including script tags, metafields, and checkout customization. Strong knowledge of Git. Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to front-end development. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
