About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled strategic and technically proficient End User Computing (EUC) Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and user-friendly EUC solutions. This role will be responsible for defining the future-state architecture for end user technologies, ensuring alignment with business needs, security policies, and IT standards. This architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver modern workplace solutions that enhance productivity, mobility, and user experience for Enterprise Functions Technologies (EFT).
In this role, you will:
* Develop and maintain the technology architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise IT and business strategy.
* Design and implement solutions for virtual/physical desktops, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and mobility platforms.
* Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions, including Windows/Mac endpoints, VDI (Windows 365, VMware, and Citrix), MEMCM/Intune, Microsoft 365 (M365) collaboration, and related technologies.
* Define standards, policies, and governance for end user devices, hardware and software deployments, collaboration solutions, and IT services management.
* Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, automation, and cloud teams to ensure secure and compliant solutions.
* Provide technical leadership for large-scale transformation initiatives such as OS upgrades, enhancements to collaboration capabilities, device refreshes, and workplace modernization.
* Stay current with industry trends, automation capabilities, emerging technologies, and best practices in EUC.
* Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for EUC technologies to IT leadership and business units.
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
* 5+ years of experience in End User Computing, Modern Workspace, and IT Infrastructure.
* 3+ years in an architecture or solution design capacity.
* 5 years' experience with End User Computing (EUC) technologies
* 2 years' experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).
* 3 years' experience with security practices in endpoint environments, including identity and access management, patching, and data protection.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, GitHub CoPilot, M365 CoPilot, Power Platform, etc.)
* Experience with Windows 10/11, Apple macOS, and mobile OS environments (iOS/Android)
* Experience with Endpoint management tools (Intune, MEMCM, JAMF, etc.)
* Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Windows 365, Citrix, VMware Horizon)
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Citrix Certified Expert, VMware VCP-DTM, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)).
* Experience in Zero Trust and hybrid work enablement.
* Familiarity with Agile or DevOps practices in infrastructure teams.
* ArchiMate Foundation Certification.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
* Strategic thinking with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
