Experience:

·       7+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry is required with 3 years in a lead role.

·      In-depth experience estimating and bidding with the following delivery methods.

o  Hard Bid (small percentage of our work)

o  Negotiated (primary percentage of work)

o  CMAR with Guaranteed Max Price

o  Design-Build

o  Pre-Construction budgetary estimating for client feasibility studies

Key Responsibilities:

·      Lead Estimator

o  Primary point of contact for client and subcontractors

o  Utilize BuildingConnected to solicit subcontractor bids

o  Ability to use On-Screen Take off to perform internal quantity take-offs

o  Ability to understand plans and specifications to confirm subcontractor bid accuracy

o  Perform constructability reviews and submit pre-bid RFIs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in the use of Excel to compile bids
• Ability to manage and direct Jr level estimators in support of bidding efforts
• Ability to run client meetings to review proposals and pricing
• Strong subcontractor relationship base
• Proficient in compiling comprehensive proposals in response to client RFPs
• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
