As Lead Engineer QA/QC, you will be responsible for the sustained high product quality for our customers. You are responsible for our zero-defect claim and ensure this through suitable measures in our company and at our suppliers. Using individual roadmaps, you can influence the expected overall performance and take appropriate measures at any time if necessary. You are also the link between engineering, suppliers and production on the one hand and the customer on the other, and thus make a significant contribution to product quality at an early stage. Quality begins with the design and selection of suppliers - this is where you come in and play a decisive role. You are passionate about quality and strive for perfection.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Voice of the customer - internally and externally, communicating quality goals and achieving them through measures
• In-depth analysis and root cause analysis of quality issues
• Establishing sustainable remedial measures and monitoring their implementation
• Collaboration with suppliers and development in the creation of sustainable quality roadmaps
• Continuous quality improvement in the supply chain and internally
• Transparency and openness - addressing problems and driving solutions
• Further development of suppliers, Establishment of long-term measures to improve quality (selected key suppliers)
• Collaboration in supplier selection and development
• Compliance with the highest quality standards in product development
• Establishment of quality as a design feature (testable), ensuring the highest quality standards at market-compliant costs
• Initial sample inspections and audits at suppliers and their suppliers
• Creation of measures for product improvement and their sustainable monitoring
  
  

Show Your Expertise

• You have a master’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical, optical, industrial) and a Green or Black Belt / Lean Six Sigma experience, including tooling (e.g. SPC, FMEA, 8D)
• At least 8 years of experience in managing quality issues internally and with suppliers, preferably in complex high tech and low volume industry
• Affinity to high tech industry and complex modules, with focus on supplier quality and part quality
• Experience with quality improvement and operational excellence in manufacturing environment
• Experience in participating and implementing improvement projects throughout the supply chain (internal and external)
• Experience in auditing (ISO 9001: 2015 or equivalent), quality tools
• Experience in a complex working environment with multiple stakeholders
• High level of personal responsibility, assertiveness and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently, flexible and organized
• Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
